Top 3 Reasons Your Acne Will Not Go Away

If you constantly suffer from acne I'm sure you will be familiar with that feeling of seeing the impossibility of finding a cure. But the truth is, many acne sufferers engage in activities and behaviors that rather than cure their acne increase it. What are these behaviors? And how could one break free from them? 1. You still don't know what triggers your Acne Outbreak There are various types of Acne and a major step in curing this skin condition is knowing the type you have. This knowledge which will reveal the 'culprit' (trigger) in your acne outbreak to you is an important step in staying acne-free.

It is shocking to note that thousands of acne-sufferers don't know what type they have, or what triggers the outbreak. Some common acne types are Adult Acne: This is often caused by medications, stress, pollution and even hormone imbalance. Medication-Induced Acne: This is usually brought on by chemicals found in drugs and medications. Usual causes are bromides, androgens, phenytoin, iodides, isoniazid, corticosteroids, and lithium. Cosmetic Acne: This is an uncommon form and is mainly caused by some ingredients find in cosmetics e.g. lanolins, myristate, etc. These are just a few of the numerous acne types.

Additional information on types and triggers is available online. 2. You believe that your diet has no affinity with your Acne Outbreak Well, there has been no conclusive scientific study that has established that acne and diets are connected. Nevertheless, hundreds of people are finding out that by merely adjusting what they eat their acne situation improved. What you should do is to note in writing when and how your outbreak occurs. Or you could simply list the foods that people believe cause acne, and observe your body reaction whenever you eat one of the foods on the list.

This small step can tip the scale in your favor in your fight against the chronic skin condition. Examples of food that are usually named as a suspect in acne outbreaks are: Fried and greasy foods Sugar Alcohol Dairy products White bread The key is not to stop eating these foods altogether but eating them in moderation and watching your body's response. You could also add to your diet foods that have been proven over the years to boost skin health. These are fresh vegetables and fruits which contain antioxidants that clear up the skin. 3. You regularly buy over the counter drugs to treat your acne It is often said that many acne treatments cause much more problems than they fix.

The truth is that the majority of over-the-counter drugs for acne just don't work. This might be attributable to my first position above concerning acne types and triggers. Many acne medications only work for a particular acne cause. To get an effective acne medication you need to know what type of acne you have, and what triggers it. The main reason I don't recommend drugs in acne treatment is that a lot of anti-acne medications actually contains chemicals that are harmful to the body. If you are someone who regularly uses different types of drugs for your acne, you might be doing more harm than good. If you will take the medication path, first find out the type and trigger of your breakout, then look for the drug that cures that particular type.

For A Healthy Diet Changing As Well An Unhealthy Snack List

Eating snacks while at the office or at home just after lunch is a common event. It usually doesn't matter if the snack is healthy or not, or what the effects of these snacks can have on our overall health. Bad habits are like viruses in your diet, causing bad health in what you are eating. If you don't clear these viruses out then the cycle will continue and ruin your life. Our eating pattern becomes a habit that most people fall into through no real fault of their own. When selecting a certain diet most people don't have the patience or the know how to try several things to see if they work, let alone to try many to find one that does work.

Where does a good diet start from? Healthy eating and drinking within recommended guidelines is very much a part of an ideal diet. As well, your social life is as important as your diet for good health. Being socially connected is vital to good mental and physical health. People who are socially connected not only live longer, they're less likely to succumb to a variety of diseases. The effects of food on health are well established and some people are fully aware of this. Diet changes can help losing weight, control diabetes, protect against cancer and prevent heart disease. Food is our basic building block and fuel for our health.

Often simple changes to our diet can make a positive difference to our health, adding more natural foods such as fruits and vegetables especially leafy greens to your diet, as well at the same time eliminating processed foods and sweet drinks. Foods that contain few nutrients add to obesity, rob the body of vitamins, minerals and promote acid indigestion. It is important that a diet is as natural, dense and organic as much as possible. When changing from an eating pattern after consuming mainly processed food over a long time becomes a shock to the digestive system where many changes are taking place. This is often a sign of different things and one of them is a certainty: Cravings for food will increase.

However, when changing from a bad diet to a good one some adjustment time is necessary. Here are some ideas and options if hunger pain strikes between meals. Healthy Snack List for Sweets What if you had a healthy snack list that you can refer to when hunger strikes? This will not only keep your overall health but also helps detoxification of your body. Here is a snack list if craving sweets: A ¾ cup of mango tossed with lime juice and some red pepper flakes on it makes a healthy diet. It will give you around eighty-six calories and two grams of fat. One sheet or four small graham crackers spread with one teaspoon of each skin ricotta along with jam is also a good example of healthy snacks. It will give you around eighty-six calories and two grams of fat. Half a cup of strawberries which are fully tipped in chocolate is another option. To make it even better microwave one tablespoon of chocolate chips for ten-second increments until it's melted.

This will give you around ninety-three calories and four grams of fat. You can also take half a large pink grapefruit, sprinkle it with half a tablespoon of brown sugar and then boiled for five minutes. This will give you sixty-nine calories and absolutely zero gram fat. Healthy Snack If You Are Craving For Salt Half a cup of edamame (bean-soybeans) sprinkled with some salt (use sea or rock salt, not table salt), is the first option for a healthy snack list. It will give you about ninety-five calories and four grams of fat. One large boiled egg sliced up and sprinkled with cumin and salt is also beneficial for your health. Use celery seeds or nutmeg if required. This will give you around eighty calories and six grams of fat.

Take three ounces of deli turkey with half a teaspoon of Dijon mustard spread over it. Roll it up by using two romaine lettuces for your healthy snack. It will give you around ninety calories and one gram of fat. One cup of Campbell harvest light soup of a roasted chicken with Italian herbs is also a nice example of healthy snacks. It will give around eighty calories and three grams of fat. A Healthy Snack List if You Are Craving Crunchy Take some tortilla chips along with two tablespoons of salsa for dipping the chips before you eat. This will give you around eighty calories and three grams of fat. Slice a small apple and toss it with one teaspoon of cinnamon and bake at 250 until they are crispy.

It will give you ninety-nine calories and zero fat. One cup of Jicama sticks with two tablespoons of hummus is a good option. It will give you ninety-six calories and three grams of fat. One rye crisp-bread topped with one sliced tomato. It will give you ninety-nine calories and five grams of fat. These are several of the options you can use in case of hunger becoming the better of you between meals. This is also a good time to eat fruit between or before a meal, because you should never eat fruit after a meal. The most important step to a healthier life is the change to a healthy diet.

All Green Leafy Vegetables Make Healthy Food Choices

When it comes to living foods, green leafy vegetables stand alone. This is because of a synergetic combination of chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals in green plants. As often happens, a concerted mix of different things can solve problems. Indeed, a hint from mother nature can open your eyes to some clever and innovative food and nutrition ideas. Why Vegetables Are Good For You Broadly, chlorophyll, in leafy greens, has an atomic structure that marvelously resembles human blood. However, chlorophyll has a magnesium atom while human blood, an iron atom. Making a world of good, raw vegetable enzymes can change the magnesium ion to an iron one. This way, your blood produces more red blood cells in order to fight diseases better. Thus, vegetable juicing is even better than fruit juicing when you understand the tremendous use of chlorophyll.

Secondly, chlorophyll has many wondrous antibacterial and antifungal properties. It can combat internal stresses and hasten the healing of wounds. Besides, this green substance of leafy vegetables has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that cleanse your blood and liver; and remove toxins from your body as well. As if that is not enough, chlorophyll also contains Vitamins A, C, and E that fortify your immune system against diseases. Thirdly, the chlorophyll in all kinds of greens helps suppress hunger. For example, there is not much sustenance in a rice salad without freshly chopped herbs like thyme, rosemary, sage, marjoram, and tarragon. Moreover, fried noodles when topped with thinly sliced lettuce will cause less colon cell damage. In a nutshell, the chief use of chlorophyll is to keep you alive and well. Health Benefits Of Vegetables Firstly, low-calorie leafy vegetables are ideal for weight loss. You can also safeguard your eye health with the lutein, zeaxanthin, and carotenoids of dark-green leafy vegetables. Moreover, a green diet figures prominently in maintaining good eyesight.

Additionally, leafy green foods can accommodate special dietary needs of Type 2 diabetes sufferers since they are high in magnesium and of a low glycemic index. In fact, for those who include a lot of fiber in their diet, the odds are rather low for type 2 diabetes, as new research shows. More importantly, it is certainly worth a try to reduce the risk of cancer with low-fat, high-fiber, mineral and vitamin-rich leafy vegetables. In fact, greens are a valuable source of antioxidants with anticancer properties Puns On Greens Aside, we cannot help to take a swipe at vegetables and vegetarianism. For example, George Bernard Shaw once said, "I am oppressed with a dread of living forever. That is the only disadvantage of vegetarianism." Taken more seriously, the longevity green diet is nothing like a prolonged, green-less life of poor health. So the joke is on him. Further, Rita Rudner commented,"I was a vegetarian until I started leaning toward the sunlight." On the surface, it is very funny, but having tasted the goodness of chlorophyll, will you not be more favorably inclined to the source of your health and well-being?

Wondering If You Have A UTI? Here Are The Symptoms

If you've never had a urinary tract infection, then how on earth are you supposed to know if you've got one cooking right now? Thankfully, there are a few telltale symptoms that can alert you to the fact that you may need to head to the doctor.

UTI Basics.

Your urinary tract is pretty long — it starts at your kidneys and ends with your urethra. It includes your bladder and your ureters, which are the ducts (or tubes) responsible for carrying urine from your kidney to your bladder. Any infection anywhere within this system can be called a UTI, but most infections are found in the lower part of your urinary tract — your bladder and urethra (the tube that carries urine from your bladder to its final resting place in your toilet).

According to the Mayo Clinic, symptoms can include:

  • Strong need to urinate
  • Frequent need to urinate
  • Burning sensation while urinating
  • Passing frequent — yet small — amounts of urine
  • Cloudy urine
  • Urine that is red, pink or cola-colored
  • Strong-smelling urine
  • Pelvic pain in women (particularly in the center of the pelvis near the pubic bone)
Essentially, if you find yourself peeing often, experiencing a sudden urge to urinate, noticing your urine looks or smells differently than it normally does or has burning or pain upon urination, then it's time to head to the doctor to get checked out.

More: It's Time to Talk About "Peehavior" & Bladder Health

Common UTI causes.

UTIs are caused by bacteria entering the urinary tract. (Hint: It's not supposed to be there.) While our bodies are designed to keep these sorts of invaders away, sometimes it does happen. There are a few common ways UTIs can develop, so definitely don't do these things if you're wanting to avoid one (which is, of course, everybody).

Wiping from back to front. When you were a child, your mom probably told you to avoid wiping from back to front. If she didn't, definitely stop now, because you're basically dragging poop bacteria toward your vagina and urethra, where it absolutely does not belong.

"When one wipes from back to front, this increases the risk for UTIs since bacteria from the rectum may easily be moved toward the urethra," Dr. Nesochi Okeke-Igbokwe, physician and health expert tells SheKnows.

Holding in your urine. Sometimes you don't get a chance for a pee break, but if you can go, then go. "When you hold in your urine for too long, it may increase the risk for developing a urinary tract infection," says Okeke-Igbokwe. "As urine sits in the bladder for prolonged periods of time, it can become the ideal environment for bacterial growth."

More: I Have a Common Bladder Condition No One Talks About, & It's Taking Over My Life

Spermicide use. This is a huge bummer for those who rely on spermicide as part of their birth-control regimen, but there is a chance it can be a factor in UTI development. One of the main chemicals found in spermicide, nonoxynol-9, can alter the normal vaginal flora, which can create an environment in which certain bacteria can thrive.

"Increased colonization of bacteria such as E. coli in the vaginal region translates into increased opportunity for the bacteria to travel from the urethra up towards the urinary tract," Okeke-Igbokwe explains.

Using sex toys that haven't been cleaned. If you use a sex toy, clean it after use, says Okeke-Igbokwe. If you don't, there's a potential for bacteria to hang out on its surfaces, which can be introduced to your urethra, which can, in turn, find its way into your urinary tract.

Possible UTI complications.

Antibiotics are the typical medical treatment for a UTI. If left untreated, however, it can lead to complications — namely a serious kidney infection. Also known as pyelonephritis, its symptoms can mimic those of a kidney stone, such as severe back pain and nausea and vomiting. It can also cause fever and chills and can include symptoms of a urinary tract infection, such as frequent urination or urine that doesn't look right. These symptoms require an immediate medical evaluation, as leaving a kidney infection untreated can lead to sepsis, which can be fatal.

If you're worried, see a doctor.

If you suspect you've developed a UTI, it's important to see a doctor help prevent serious complications. Of course, not everyone who has a UTI experience all these symptoms, so even if you have one symptom or are only mildly concerned, it's important to see a doctor.

If you don't think you have an infection, drink lots of water, pee when you have to go, wipe from front to back (please!) and clean sex toys after use. Hopefully, these tips will keep your urinary tract in tip-top shape.

As always, I would like to recommend a product that helped me once and few others I know before.

Goodbye To Flab and Hello to Fab!

Do you find yourself avoiding wearing singlets and short-sleeve tops because you don't like the way the skin under your arms wobbles? Here is the solution on how to get rid of those flabby arms.

Do you find yourself avoiding wearing singlets and short-sleeve tops because you don't like the way the skin under your arms wobbles? SheKnows has the solution on how to say goodbye to flab and hello to fab.

We talked to body transformation specialist and virtual personal trainer, Mark Woodgate. He's been in the health and fitness industry for almost two decades and in that time he has personally helped transform over 1,000 bodies. For the first time ever, we are letting you in on Mark's tried and tested secrets for getting rid of unsightly arm flab.

Choose exercises to target your whole body.

One mistake people commonly make is to think if they go hard-targeting the problem area of their body — whether it's the muffin top that spills over the top of your jeans or your wobbly arm fat — that target-specific exercises will fix it. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all you had to do to acquire a much sought-after six-pack was just ab crunches? It's important to choose exercises which work out the entire body. We're talking about those exercises you love to hate like lunges, squats, press ups, and rows.

Make sure you're wearing the correct bra for exercising >> Think about what you put in your mouth. Believe it or not, getting rid of your batwings requires good nutrition. Put down that Big Mac, girl! Just because you have some extra Weight Watchers points left over this week doesn't give you the thumbs up to eat highly processed foods and refined carbs. You can be doing everything right at the gym, but if you're not following through in the kitchen, you won't see the results you want. Mark Woodgate's top healthy eating tips for sexy, toned arms are:
  • Reduce alcohol consumption.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Avoid processed foods. If it comes in a packet or a can, bin it.
  • Limit refined carbohydrates, basically anything which causes rapid changes in blood sugar levels, like lollies, cookies, pastries, bread, pasta.
You need to do weight training and..... Stop freaking out, weight training won't turn you into the next Mr. Universe lookalike. It helps sculpt and tone muscles which simply won't happen if you're just running on the treadmill or walking. The good thing is you don't have to belong to a gym or purchase a fancy home gym to work out with weights. A few basic pieces of equipment at home and you're on the way to being super sexy and toned.

Fitness Gym Ball about 55 or 65 centimeters in size. If you don't already have one, you can pick them up from Rebel Sport for around $65.  Dumbbells weighing between 2 and 6 kilograms. Start off light and if it's too easy, increase your weight.  An optional extra, but not necessary, is a medicine ball. These retail at around $89.

There are a variety of exercises you can do. To check out comprehensive instructions on how to complete these exercises properly and safely, check out Mark's detailed exercise instructions with animations.

The Power Of Late-Night Snacking

You’re staring at your computer screen with weary eyes. Dinner has come and gone, but that oh-so-familiar beast we call Hunger has reeled its damn head again. But you can’t snack after eight o’clock, right? That’s weight loss rule number one. Or is it? I’m about to share with you some helpful truths for a situation of this kind. There’s an ironic flipside to my mostly honorable label of ‘Liz Swann Miller – Weight Loss Expert’. I must strictly resign myself to the continuous expectation the general public attributes to the title – that I have it together. Liz would never gain excessive amounts of weight. Liz would never give in to that looming golden M on the highway. Liz doesn’t snack late at night.

How does Liz do it? Let me tell you a secret. Liz struggles. Liz feels the exact temptations you feel, and resists the exact pulls you resist. As this ‘Weight Loss Expert’, I often need to remind myself not only to pursue a healthy lifestyle in order to fulfill the expectation of my title and my career, but for my optimal wellbeing. The temptation, for me, is at its worst late at night, during that time when I’ve supposedly declared eating over, yet I’m fighting hunger, bleary-eyed, answering hundreds of emails from clients seeking advice for topics such as this. Firstly – it’s important to note that hunger is a basic survival instinct – and we must be grateful for it. The fact that it exists is an amazing feat in itself. Don’t be ashamed. Just know

how to appease the beast. There are those who claim the most effective diets are those which have you eating only two meals a day and drinking water for the rest. I strongly encourage you to ignore these methods, as they are not sustainable. The secret is snacking. And I don’t mean digging around in a bag of chips and licking the salt off your fingers (we’ve all been there), I mean pouring yourself a bowl of organic nuts. Or blueberries. Or frozen peas. Be inventive, but clever about it. Choose the right food in moderation. But let’s talk about the late-night secret. It’s simple. And easy. Are you ready for it? Okay.

It’s a cup of tea. Don’t underestimate those three words. Not to drink immediately before bed, but rather in the gap between dinner and sleep. My go-to is the always delicious, always sufficient Red Tea. It satisfies the hunger itch but leaves me feeling clean, calm and revitalized, primarily due to its detoxifying properties. And it’s caffeine free – so don’t fear, you won’t be bouncing from the walls. After my extensive studies around fat-burning solutions, the myths and the answers, I created this tea with ingredients selected carefully for late night cravings and overall weight loss (you can find the recipe in the link below). The benefits are endless, but the solution is simple. Set yourself a challenge.

I’ll be right there with you. Ditch the chips, the ice cream, and the guilty pleasure cheese blocks. Get the kettle bubbling and pour yourself a steaming mug of Red Tea. I guarantee – you will fall in love with the taste – and late night cravings will be a beast of the past.

To get the Red Tea recipe, please visit The Red Tea Detox today.

Know Symptoms Of Peptic Ulcers

Dietary and environmental stressors make peptic ulcers a common health problem, that if left untreated, can cause serious complications. Peptic ulcers are sores that develop in some part of the digestive tract. These sores typically form as a result of inflammation caused by the bacteria H. pylori or from erosion caused by an imbalance of stomach acids.

Only about a quarter of people with ulcers experience symptoms. In some cases, eating a meal can ease the pain, while in others, eating only makes the pain worse. The most common symptoms include abdominal pain, bloating or the feeling of fullness, belching, heartburn, nausea and/or vomiting.

For many, the first indication of a peptic ulcer is when that ulcer starts to slowly bleed, causing symptoms of iron-deficiency anaemia. Anyone with the digestive symptoms above needs to be particularly aware of any signs of anaemia – pale skin colour, shortness of breath with physical activity, fatigue or lightheadedness. An ulcer that is bleeding more heavily may cause stools that are black and tarry or signs of blood in your stool or vomit. These latter symptoms can be an indication of a life-threatening condition and should be treated immediately.

The cause of an ulcer can’t always be determined, but the two most common factors are the presence of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), and the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). H. pylorus is a bacterium that lives within the mucus in the digestive tract that can sometimes cause inflammation in the stomach lining that can lead to an ulcer. The risk is greater for smokers.

NSAIDs are among the most commonly used medications in the world, but they can make it hard for your digestive tract to protect itself from stomach acids. Moreover, these medications reduce the ability of your blood to clot, which can make a bleeding ulcer much more dangerous. Medications in the NSAID category include aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) and naproxen (Aleve).

NSAIDs can also be present in combination medications used to treat colds or stomach upset, so you must be cautious about proper dosing and talk to your physician or pharmacist about any prescription or over-the-counter product you intend to take. If you use multiple medications, there’s a good chance you are taking more NSAID than you realize. Your risk of NSAID-related ulcers is higher if you drink alcohol, use corticosteroids, are over the age of 65 or have had ulcers in the past.

The important thing is not to ignore signs of digestive pain or dysfunction that last more than a few days. Ulcers – and potentially related anaemia – can be diagnosed with lab work, imaging, and/or an upper GI endoscopy. The condition can be treated at most any stage with some combination of medication and lifestyle changes. The consequences of not getting diagnosis and treatment can be devastating and are quite avoidable.

The first thing to do is talk to your personal physician about your symptoms and concerns.

Dr Anupam Sekhon is a physician at the DeTar Family Medicine Center. She is a first-year resident. Learn more about her at mydetardoctor.com.

How To Protect Your Eyes From Smartphone Strain

Your smartphone is a handy device that most people cannot do without due to the convenience and access to the online platforms for diverse online experiences. However, staring at your smartphone more than necessary could have an adverse impact on your eyes.

Smartphones are, unarguably, an indispensable device, but here are ways you can protect your eyes from smartphone strain.

1. Blink Frequently

When using your smartphone, ensure to blink as often as possible to keep your eyes moist and prevent eye dryness and irritation. Usually, you blink less than you would normally when you are staring at your smartphone and that does not allow the protective tears to reach your eyes. Blink often to refocus your eyes and keep your eyes moist.

2. Use Anti-Glare Film

If your smartphone is not equipped with anti-glare protective glass or it does not have a matte screen protective film, buy and fix an anti-glare or anti-reflective coating on your smartphone screen. It cost less than $20 in a material. Protect your eyes from smartphone strain for less than $20.

3. Take Short Breaks

You may be tempted to stay glued to your smartphone screen for several hours uninterrupted. To prevent straining your eyes, take short breaks from staring at your device. A concept of 20-20-20 suggests that you take a break of 20 seconds looking away from your smartphone after spending 20 minutes and look at something about 20 feet away. That will ensure that you relax your eye muscles.

4. Reduce the Smartphone Brightness

The excessive brightness of your device’s backlight places a lot of stress on your eyes and can make you not focus properly after a long time. To prevent this problem, go to your smartphone settings and reduce your screen brightness to the level of the ambient light around you.

5. Adjust Your Text Size

Another way to relieve your eyes of strain is by adjusting the text size to make it easy and convenient to read web content or textual content on your smartphone. So, you would not meet to struggle to read a text and stress your eyes.

6. Hold it Farther Away

Most people hold their smartphones only about 8 inches away from their faces. This is not good for the health of your eyes. Hold your smartphones away at least 16 inches away from the eyes to give your eyes a break.

The tips above are more comfortable to follow than straining your eyes and impairing the strength and health of your eyes. If you are feeling an uncomfortable strain even after these tips, it will be wise to visit your local optometrist, to get a proper consultation on the health of your eyes.

Exhausted Yet Wide Awake? 5 Smart Ways To Get Rid Of Insomnia Fast

Say bye to sleepless nights with these 5 smart cures of insomnia

Insomnia, or inability to fall asleep or stay asleep at night, is fast emerging as a huge global health concern. Stress at work, lack of physical exercise, high levels of tech engagement and poor sleep hygiene are some of the most significant factors causing insomnia. So make sure you are getting rid of it in smart ways.
Experts like Ankit Garg from Wakefit and Devrath Vijay from The Outfit, list down five guaranteed means to cure insomnia
* Have an early dinner: Sleep scientists and medical researchers often stress on the importance of having at least 1.5-2 hours of gap between having dinner and hitting the bed. Otherwise, it may lead to indigestion, which can be a salient cause for insomnia.
* Change your mattress: An uncomfortable mattress can wreak havoc with your sleep, forcing you to toss and turn throughout your sleeping hours. It might also cause muscular pains, nerve pinching, body ache and prolonged damage to body posture. A lot of work is being done today to optimize the ergonomics and structural development of mattresses, with innovative mattress makers.
* Step into the sleep zone: Ensure that you do not carry work-related materials, gadgets or entertainment devices to your ‘sleeping area'. Assign a particular ‘zone of relaxation' and equip it with material that aids you in your attempt to doze off peacefully. Aromatic candles, Zen music, calm repetitive simulated sounds such as raindrops can help bring the essential peace of mind needed to enjoy uninterrupted sleep.

* Talk to a professional: While we spend our entire working hours being busy and putting up a brave face, it is only when our guard is down and we are alone that panic and anxiety set in and prevent us from falling asleep. When panic and insomnia show up together, it can be very hard to differentiate between the two. It is important to discuss our worries, concerns, and apprehensions with someone who can help us battle our inner demons before they start manifesting themselves outwardly through ailments such as insomnia.
* Exercise- A physically exhausted body craves rest. Ensure that you exercise vigorously for at least an hour each day and keep taking short walks and do freehand exercises while in the office. A sedentary lifestyle, too much of junk food and lazing on the couch all day long will only bring those extreme stages of frustration where you can't sleep and your body feels completely drained out of energy to function properly.
Insomnia is not just a disease that leaves you sleepless at nights but causes you more harm internally.

Best Exercises For A Healthy Digestive System

Here is how to maintain a healthy stomach through various exercises or digestive system is an intrinsic network of masterfully crafted and designed organs, which work tirelessly to keep us well says Mickey Mehta, India's leading holistic health guru. He adds, "This, of course, is subject to what we eat and how well we stimulate these organs with exercises." He shares more on how to maintain a healthy digestive system.

Know your body three main factors keep a human body and mind at peace: aahar (the food that we eat), vihar (the way we exercise our body), and vishram (sleep and relaxation). The human body, which is controlled by the balance between the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), is dependent on one’s lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle can correct, purify, and rejuvenate your body, whereas an unhealthy one can damage the system.
Regular exercise and conscious breathing (pranayama), which works on the digestive system as a gentle massage, have a favourable effect on the digestion. They activate the digestive enzymes and the bowel movement. Regular exercise is good for circulation, and it stimulates and energizes the nervous, endocrine, and muscular systems. It helps by removing all energy blocks, working holistically on your health. Best workouts for a healthy digestive system You must work out under proper guidance and include a combination of warm-ups, stretches, and contractions through yoga, Pilates, and cardio workouts.

Exercises such as backward and forward bends, spinal twist, Pawan mukthasan, suryanamaskar, cat- pose, sethubandhasana, swimming, and cycling target the abdominal muscles. They also boost digestive efficiency, remove toxins, nourish the intestines, and promote a sense of equilibrium and an ideal metabolic state. He adds, "Be regular, consistent, and disciplined with your diet and exercise. Let exercises ground you, give you digestive peace, and keep you Mickeymized."
